BJP always put forth unreasonable demands without justification: Congress

BJP’s attitude in politics is negative one. It has no constructive agenda. Its usual business in Parliament is to obstruct the government from attending public work. BJP made a demand for investigation by JPC in 2-G spectrum. The BJP wanted JPC to look into CWG, Adarsh Housing Society too. But when Congress talked about Karnataka – one of the most corrupt and worst governed states – BJP put up lame excuse that it was a State-issue. BJP recklessly pursed the JPC demand knowing full well that different investigation agencies were already probing these issues. There was Shunglu Committee on CWG. CAG was also looking into that. Though Adarsh Housing Society is a State related matter, CBI has been entrusted with the investigation. And as far as 2-G Spectrum is concerned, CBI is investigating the same under the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court. BJP and the entire opposition were unable able to explain wholesome purpose JPC was going to serve when different investigating agencies were probing the different issues and whether the JPC would be able to have any value addition.
