AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi addressed a gathering of farmers in U.P. He undertook a padyatra to realize the problems being faced by the farmers and villagers in Uttar Pradesh due to the much controversial land acquisition by Mayawati Government. Police firing and lathi charge etc also occurred when some of the aggrieved farmers agitated against the Government in U.P. Rahul Gandhi assured his full support to the farmers.
