It is not that Mayawati’s BSP government is involved in corruption cases, Mayawati herself too has been involved in corruption of all sorts, said Congress (I). Who does not remember Taj Corridor case? Mayawati entered into conspiracy with big business men and infrastructure builders to acquire land for Taj corridor. CBI raided different premises to trace illegal gotten money. Instead of facing CBI inquiry to prove her innocence Mayawati ran around Supreme Court in a desperate effort to get the corruption case closed prematurely. Again she has been involved in possession of wealth disproportionate to her known sources of income. Congress (I) has said she is unable to explain from where she got so much wealth. She has only been saying that the amount was gifted by her well wishers. Any body can image that nobody will give gift in crores unless equally hefty favor in return is shown on the well wisher, said Congress (I). As such involvement of Mayawati in corruption is self speaking.
