Congress accuses Maya of favouring corporate over farmers

Lashing out against Mayawati for favoring corporate to fulfill her greed for money, Congress (I) has said NRIs and corporate business have been in league with her for allotment of land in and around NOIDA. Poor farmers’ lands were forcibly acquired on nominal rates under the pretext of public purpose, said Congress (I), but later land use was changed to private for resale to corporate. Congress (I) said land allotment were made under quid pro quo arrangements with her. This caused loss of thousands of crores of rupees of revenue to the government while Mayawati and BSP leaders enriched themselves by corrupt means. But the poor farmers did not get even the market price of their lands, said Congress (I). Such misdoings confirm that she is anti-farmer. Congress (I) said farmers are now waiting to vote out rishwat khor and zalim Mayawati in the upcoming Assembly elections.

Mayawati’s govt stealing money meant for the poor: Congress (I)

Hitting out against UP chief minister for not ensuring that benefits of central sponsored welfare schemes reached the poor, Congress (I) has said Mayawati’s corrupt government is stealing money of he poor meant for providing them employment. To cushion the impact of unemployment Congress (I)-led UPA government at the centre started MNREGA Scheme – a flagship program - for providing minimum 100 days guaranteed employment to poor people in rural areas. Wages at rate of Rs 120 X 100 days gives minimum income of Rs 12,000. The program gives to the poor employment, income and respectable status in the society. While this program has been tremendous success in Congress (I) ruled states, in Uttar Pradesh the MNREGA money did not reach the poor.  Instead the money was pocketed by ministers.  Mayawati government deprived the poor of their benefits under the scheme, said Congress (I).

Mayawati govt. looted the assets of UP: Congress (I)

Accusing Mayawati of looting the assets of the state by selling its sugar mills, Congress (I) has said these mills were worth above Rs 2,000 crores but she sold them for just Rs 200 crores. If only one item of these mills that is land was put to public auction it would have fetched more than Rs 2,000 crores. For personal gain 35 sugar mills were declared ‘sick’ by her. Chandpur and Jarval Road sugar mills were running on profit. Amroha sugar mill alone could have fetched Rs 250 crores but was sold for Rs 17.01 crore. Bahreich sugar mill was running on annual profit of Rs 15 crores but was sold for Rs 26.95 crores.  Similarly Gorakhpur sugar mill was earning profit of Rs 30 crores annually but was sold for Rs 34 crores. This scam caused loss of thousands of crores to state revenue, said Congress (I).

Liquor scam in Mayawati regime: Congress (I)

Flaying Mayawati for adopting wrong policy for sale of liquor, Congress (I) has said she has created a monopoly in sale of liquor sale in the hand of her favorite person Ponty Chadda.  This was done without following tender process or holding auction for sale of liquor, said Congress (I).  Blue Water Harvesting Company now alone decides which brand will come in the market.  On retail business Rs 10 per bottle are charged extra from consumers which is said to be Maya Ker.  It is estimated that daily one lakh bottles of liquor are sold in the market. Thus one can image how much May ker is collected daily, said Congress (I).  This explains why there is so much corruption in Mayawati government.  In spite of Maya’s pretension to deal with it strongly it is increasing day by day instead of coming down, said Congress (I).

Contract racket in Mayawati govt: Congress (I)

Accusing Mayawati for running contract racket for awarding government contracts, Congress (I) has said she is operating a group in her party which is manipulating all contracts being entered by development authorities around Delhi like GDA, NOIDA, Greater NOIDA,  Yamuna Expressway Development Authority etc. Contract for works of these authorities are allotted to only those contractors who pay Maya Ker.  Mayawati’s family and close associated coordinate such deals. It is estimated that scandalous deals exceeding Rs 25,000 crores were entered into by Mayawati.  For these contracts she got kick-backs of Rs 4,000 crores. Congress (I) has said Mayawati government is so much crazy for money that it first suspends officials and then demands money from such officers for reinstating them in service.  For making money applications with fee are invited for examination for certain posts but no exams are held.   Then selections are made on the basis of interview for which again fee is charged, said Congress (I).
