Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi arrived in Jammu & Kashmir as a part of his mission to attract more youth to join mainstream politics. He will be in Jammu & Kashmir on 26th and 27th Sept.
The Congress General Secretary started his tour by attending a public meeting in Kargil. He will later interact with students of Kashmir University at University Convocation Hall in Srinagar. Later in the day, he will attend a convention of elected representatives of panchayats and meet the potential candidates of the Indian Youth Congress in Srinagar.
On 27th, Congress General Secretary will again attend a convention of elected representatives of panchayats and meet the potential candidates of the Indian Youth Congress at Congress Dak Bunglow Ground. After the convention Rahul Gandhi will interact with students in Jammu. Congress General Secretary will also attend a convention of elected representatives of panchayats and meet the potential candidates of the Indian Youth Congress at Gujjar Charitable Trust in Jammu.
The visit will help the Congress general secretary better understand the issues related to youth in the border-state. The visit is aimed at strengthening the Congress and its youth wing in Kashmir.
