Congress: UP Lokayukta indicts corrupt ministers of Mayawati govt.

What Congres (I) President Sonia Gandhi and General Secretary Rahul Gandhi have been saying about corruption in Mayawati government is now officialy out. Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta N.K. Mehrotra has indicted a minister of Mayawati government on the charges of corruption. Rangnath Mishra, Ministr of Secondary Eduction has been indicted while charges against Badshah Singh, Minister of Labour are being investigated. Congress (I) has said that although Mayawati has since removed the tained BSP ministers it is too little too late. BSP is full of such corrupt ministers who should be behind bars. Instead Chief Minister Mayawati is keeping them as miisters in her government, has said Congress (I) spokesman. The Lokayukya’s inquiry has established that the minister had made illegal money in appointment of teachers and other staff in the departments under him'. 'We also have reason to believe that the minister indulged in blatant misuse of his constituency fund,' he said. The other minister Badshah Singh is involved in grabbing village village panchayat land for building his college in Mahoba district.
