Addressing a Congress workers’ meet at Babrala, Gunnaur All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi said that the non-Congress governments in UP, during the past 20 years, have pulled the state backwards. Kicking off the second phase of Congress’ Campaign in the run up to the upcoming assembly polls in the state Rahul Gandhi promised that the Congress government will lead Uttar Pradesh back to the top position again.
“Till a leader goes to the poor, stays with them, eat at their home and drink water from their houses and get sick, he cannot understand poverty,” emphasized Rahul Gandhi.
