Congress (I) has lashed out at Mayawati government for allowing establishing of Asia School of Engineering and Management in the state. This institute has dubious background and more likely to jeopardize the educational career of the prospective students rather than building a bright one. Girls of rich families from different parts of the country have joined this institute. Bank Accounts of this institute have been opened without necessary formalities and without following standard operating procedure for such important transactions. Sources from which the funds are coming have to be declared under government regulations. But this has neither been done nor has it been insisted upon by the Maya government. So much so even the website address of the institute has been found to be wrong. While there is some seriously amiss in the whole affair, Mayawati government has been complacent to this, said Congress (I).
