Lashing out at UP Chief Minister for ignoring the aam admi during her rule, Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has said Mayawati government had paid no attention to the issues of aam admi. She has been busy with her personal agenda of fulfilling her greed for money and promoting her party rather than attending to the issues of aam admi, said Congress (I). She has ignored development and welfare of people including dalits and poor. Due to her greed for money the benefits of central government’s sponsored and fully funded schemes like Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee (MNREGS), National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), Janani Saurakha Yojana (Safe Motherhood Delivery), Mid Day Meal for schools are not reaching the needy poor. Instead the money has been siphoned off by corrupt ministers of Mayawati government. If given a chance this time to form government a government of aam admi by Congress (I) would work for common man irrespective of his caste or religion, said Rahul Gandhi.
