Flaying non-Congress (I) governments of UP for thinking only about remaining in power, Rahul Gandhi has said these governments do not think about long terms plans and future development of the state. They do not give attention to unemployment in the state. These parties neither bothered about Bundelkhand which has been drought ridden and facing hunger and starvation deaths nor about Poorvanchal reeling under encephalitis which has killed thousands of people. Even the money which centre has sent for welfare schemes for poverty alleviation and employment generation programs like MNREGA has been stolen by corrupt ministers of Mayawati and not reached the poor. Congress (I) leader said complexities of governance have been beyond comprehension of these regional parties adding that Congress (I) has experience, visionary plans and necessary expertise to develop UP. He requested the people to give chance to Congress (I) to form government this time to bring development in the state.
