Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi’s deep incursions into the strongholds of BSP and SP charging them for indulging in caste based votebank politics has put Mayawati and Mulayam Singh Yadav on back foot. These leaders have successively ruled over Uttar Pradesh as their fief for the last two decades. Yet there has not been any development in the state. These parties came to power, served their personal interests and left. None cared to attend to the problems of the common people, said Rahul Gandhi. Congress (I) brought development in the state when it ruled the state. Thereafter there has not been any development. These casteist parties are unable to explain why there was no development in UP while Congress (I) ruled states like Karnataka, Delhi and Andhra Pradesh are developing fast. Why there is alarming unemployment in UP which is compelling the youth the leave the home state in search jobs in other states, said Rahul Gandhi.
