Giving a pleasant surprise to the people of Amethi, charismatic Priyanka Gandhi Vadra who has been campaigning in Amethi and Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh was seen for the first time in a public meeting, with her kids Raihan and Miraya on Thursday in the midst of the state Assembly elections. She told the people that she had come to take the message of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi to the people that the time has come for a change.
Reminding the people that this election is very crucial Priyanka Gandhi said “Rahul Ji and Sonia Ji has therefore sent me to carry their message to you that this election is not a simple one… This election has given the people a chance to effect a change in the state after 22 years.. This a chance to rebuild the future of you and your children.. You just look back and see your experience in the past few years and take an intelligent decision before going to vote. Your well thought decision will determine your future for the next five years.. “
“Various political parties and leaders come to you for their selfish interests. You are the people of Uttar Pradesh.. Awake, arise and bring in changes.. Do protect your interests.. Don’t let anybody to exploit you.. You can make your future brighter by electing the Congress candidate and your state will surge ahead..” she added.
Priyanka Gandhi also said that the state of Uttar Pradesh slipped backwards by the corrupt and the opportunistic politics witnessed in the past 22 years. She also slammed both SP and BSP for the pathetic living conditions in the state and urged people to bring about changes by supporting Congress candidates.
