Congress accuses Maya of favouring corporate over farmers

Lashing out against Mayawati for favoring corporate to fulfill her greed for money, Congress (I) has said NRIs and corporate business have been in league with her for allotment of land in and around NOIDA. Poor farmers’ lands were forcibly acquired on nominal rates under the pretext of public purpose, said Congress (I), but later land use was changed to private for resale to corporate. Congress (I) said land allotment were made under quid pro quo arrangements with her. This caused loss of thousands of crores of rupees of revenue to the government while Mayawati and BSP leaders enriched themselves by corrupt means. But the poor farmers did not get even the market price of their lands, said Congress (I). Such misdoings confirm that she is anti-farmer. Congress (I) said farmers are now waiting to vote out rishwat khor and zalim Mayawati in the upcoming Assembly elections.
