Lashing out against BSP, SP and BJP for rampant corruption and backwardness in UP, Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has said that people are now fed up with these political parties for indulging in divisive politics in the name of caste and religion. The people have now made up their mind to give their verdict in favor of Congress (I), he said while campaigning in the poll bound state. He is happy to see a large number of youth attending his public meetings, he further said adding that the youth of the state is now determined to bring change in a big way. Rahul Gandhi highlighted the welfare policies of Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre like MNREGA, NRHM, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Janani Sauraksha Yojana and Mid Day Meal for the poor. He claimed that no other government brought so many progressive and welfare schemes ever before. These schemes are a tremendous success in Congress (I) ruled states, he added. But due to corruption in Mayawati’s government these schemes are faltering in UP. Benefits of welfare and development schemes are not reaching the people, added Rahul Gandhi. Highlighting that she is playing with their career, Rahul Gandhi urged the youth to snatch it back. He promised the people that if Congress (I) is voted to power this time, it will provide good governance and change the face the state in five years.
