Congress General Secretary RahulGandhi lashed out at non-Congress parties - BSP, SP and BJP - for the present plight of Uttar Pradesh. Rahul Gandhi also assured that A Congress rule in the state will transform the state in the next ten years into a progressive one. The Congress leader also claimed that Uttar Pradesh will be No. 1 state in the next ten years under Congress and the people from outside will flock to UP for jobs.
The present bad state of affairs and lack of development in UP are because of the wrong policies of non-Congress parties like BJP, SP and BSP, said Rahul Gandhi. These non-Congress parties indulged in corruption and worked only for their petty narrow interests. Claiming that that Congress (I) ruled states like Delhi, Haryana and Andhra Pradesh are developing fast, Rahul Gandhi urged the people that if given chance Congress (I) will put UP also back on the track of progress. What other parties failed to do in twenty two years, Congress (I) would do in ten years and people will start seeing the change after five years, Rahul Gandhi assured.
