Congress (I) is planning for welfare schemes for Ex-Servicemen


The Congress while accusing the non-Congress governments of BSP, SP and BJP of neglecting the issues of Ex-Servicemen, said it was planning seriously to address the problems being faced by the ex-servicemen.  These non-Congress parties never bothered about the problems of Ex-Servicemen who gave prime of their youth for protecting the country, said Congress (I) during Ex-Servicemen Meet in Mau, Uttar Pradesh.

While appreciating their services to the nation, Congress (I) reminded Ex-Servicemen that one of these political parties is notorious as Kafan Chor for indulging in Defence scams during NDA regime. Addressing the Ex-Servicemen Uttar Pradesh Congress Chief Rita Bahuguna Joshi criticised Mayawati government for its rampant corruption and gave instances of how she has been helping her sisters, brothers and other relatives in purchasing property in Noida.  Assuring the Ex-Servicemen that it was aware of problem of re-employment being faced by them, the Congress leader said that Congress (I) is working out all the possible measures to address this issue.
