Sonia Gandhi slams BJP for creating wedge between hills and plains

Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi while addressing a public rally in Uttarakhand as part of her Congress campaign lashed out at BJP on corruption.  Sonia Gandhi argued that BJP was compelled to change its chief minister in Uttarakhand following corruption charges and also accused it of creating wedge between the hills and the plains.
"The BJP is responsible for widespread corruption across the state. It was due to corruption that BJP was forced to change its Chief Minister," said the Congress President.
Sonia Gandhi was indirectly referring the replacement Ramesh Pokhriyal by B S Khanduri in the state. "Through its discriminatory policies, the BJP is creating a wedge between the plains and the hilly areas of the state," Sonia Gandhi said.
