Sonia Gandhi in Karnataka takes on BJP, questions its stance on corruption

Congress President and UPA Chairperson who was on a one-day visit to Mangalore in Karnataka, launched a scathing attack on BJP on Thursday and said that it never took any serious action to fight corruption. She also claimed that the Centre had given Rs 80,000 crore to the Karnataka government in the past five years, but questioned if the state government had let the money reach the people or used it in programmes meant for the welfare of people.
Addressing a public rally, Sonia Gandhi targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Karnataka accusing it BJP of spreading lies against the Congress-led UPA government and making attempts to defame them. She slammed the state BJP government saying, "People want to get rid of the corrupt state government."
Sonia Gandhi also backed the recent hike in fuel prices, reduction in subsidy on LPG cylinders and the reform measures like FDI in retail. "We have no control over the international price of the oil...we have been forced to hike prices of cooking gas and petrol," said the Congress president.
Justifying the foreign direct investment (FDI) reforms Sonia Gandhi, "By allowing FDI in retail we are ensuring a direct linking between the farmers and the market and also we will enable the consumers to pay the lower prices. New jobs as well as new infrastructure will be created”.
The Congress president also assured the people that the UPA government was serious to fight corruption. She said, "We brought the RTI because we genuinely want to fight corruption." She also said that the UPA wanted to bring the Lokpal Bill, but it was the BJP which stopped the bill in Rajya Sabha. “Then you tell me whether BJP is really serious to fight corruption or they are just pretending to fight corruption” she added.
Pepping up the Congress workers for the next year's Assembly elections, Sonia Gandhi said the BJP was running corrupt governments in Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.

  1. Hi,
Rani Singh who contributes for CNN ( zionist channel )— writes a book -- “Sonia Gandhi: An Extraordinary Life, An Indian Destiny”
In his foreword, Mikhail Gorbachev, the former president of Soviet Union, wrote "Sonia Gandhi has served India in many ways - as Rajiv's wife, as the mother of two remarkable children, as an example of dignity and strength, and as a political leader of high caliber. India must be proud of her".
    What is the catch?
What makes Gorbachev thinks the WTE ( waitress turned empress ) is of such high caliber—and that we Indians are so proud of her?
Punch into Google search FALSE FLAG ATTACK ON IRAN COULD TRIGGER WORLD WAR 3.
