Attacking Mayawati for playing with the professional career of the teachers, Congress (I) has said she has indulged in scam in selection of BTC teachers. In 2010 Mayawati government declared competitive examination for the posts of BTC teachers. Application fee of Rs 400 each was taken. For 80,000 posts there were 20 lakh applicants. But Mayawati government did not hold the examination. Instead selection was made only on the basis of qualification-cum-merit. Congress (I) has asked if the examination was not to be conducted, then why examination fee was charged? What happened to the applicants’ money? Those who were selected were again made to pay interview fee of Rs 300 each. Congress (I) has said that due to such scams people have totally lost faith in Mayawati government for indulging in making money at the cost of innocent people.
